Parents- we have some amazing readers in our class!  They are learning how you can use pictures to read a story.  Students are also looking for rainbow words!

Updates

Greetings families! Don't forget about our field trip to the pumpkin patch next Monday from 10:45-2:15. It's going to be so much fun! Also, next Friday the 28th, we will have our fall party. Please contact let me know if you would like to help plan and I can forward your information to the parents collecting the list. (unfortunately while I am good lesson planner, I need to work on my party planning skills... lol)

Visit from Mr. Mason and Kai

Today we had a visit from Mr. Mason and his pet snake! We learned a lot of facts about snakes. Here are some facts we learned:

Snakes are reptiles just like lizards. So they lay eggs just like other reptiles. Snakes eat things like mice and they need to eat them whole because they do not have teeth so they cannot chew. They do not see in color like we do, but they see with heat so they can hunt in the dark. Snakes are amazing animals!

Three snakes making a super ball python (do not worry- they won't eat each other!)
